About BIS : Bureau of Indian Standards, a statutory body under the administrative control of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Govt. of India, is the National Standards Body of India and is responsible for activities in the field of Standardization, Product and System Certification, Hallmarking of Gold / Silver Jewellery, Laboratory Testing etc., in the Country. Scale of Pay : Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- plus allowances as applicable. The indicative gross salary as on date at New Delhi will be Rs.57,846/-
Selection Procedure : Candidates will be selected for this Scientist post on the basis of their performance in online written examination and Interview. The online exam is proposed to be held on 18.10.2015 in 45 cities.
