BSNL Recruitment 2016 : www.bsnl.co.in or www.externalexam.bsnl.co.in is the official website of BSNL Portal. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is going to conduct special recruitment drive for SC, ST and OBC candidates in posts of Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) to fill up 147 vacancies. So all eligible applicants should apply online at Externalexam BSNL website from 1st December 2015 to 10th December 2015. The written test for this recruitment will be conducted on 20th December 2015.

Name of the Post : Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA)
Eligibility Criteria :
Nationality : Only Indian Nationals would be eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification : A candidate must have passed three years engineering diploma in telecommunications/ electronics/ electrical/ Radio / Computer/ Instrumentation/ Information Technology from a central govt / state govt recognized Institution or B.Sc (Electronics).
Age Limit : The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years as on the last date of receipt of online applications.
Scale of Pay : The Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) shall be appointed in the IDA Pay scale (NE-9) of Rs.13600-25420/- with annual increment @ 3% of basic pay plus IDA, HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits, etc admissible as per company rules.
Selection Procedure : The mode of selection is trough an all India Competitive Examination. The examination will consist of a single paper of three hours duration having objective type multiple choice questions, which is to be conducted through online examination mode. The TTA exam will be held in 25 BSNL Territorial circles only at their respective headquarters.
Application Fee :
For OBC candidates : Rs.1000/-
For SC/ST candidates : Rs.500/-
The application fee can be paid through online mode i.e. Internet Banking, Credit Card, Debit card only.

i) Graduate Engineer Apprentice : The applicant must possess a B.E./B. Tech. degree from recognized Engineering College/University in anyone of the following disciplines Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology.
ii) Diploma Holder Apprentice : The applicant must have Three years Engineering Diploma in anyone of the following disciplines Electronics , Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology
Age Limit : To undergo Apprenticeship Training the minimum age limit is 14 Years and there is no upper age limit. However, the candidates between the ages of 14-18 years are not eligible to sign the Contracts, being the minor. Their Contracts are required to be signed by their Guardians.
Period of Training : The period of Apprentice training will be limited to one year only.
Stipend for month :
i) Graduate Engineer Apprentice : Rs.4984 per month
ii) Diploma Holder Apprentice : Rs.3542 per month
Selection Procedure : Candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit in the academic examinations (i.e. BE/B.Tech/Diploma).
