Educational Qualification : A Candidate should have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination.

Age Limit : (As on closing date of online registration) 
For General Category : 18 to 32 years
Age relaxation in upper age limit shall be applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-SM/PH categories according to existing provisions of Govt. of India.

Scale of Pay : Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- plus usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees from time to time.

Selection Procedure : Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in Written test and Trade Test. The written test shall be fully objective type and OMR based.

Ministry of Defence, Government of India. FGF, Kanpur invites online applications from eligible citizens of India for recruiting various Group 'C' posts to fill up 100 vacancies in the Industrial Establishment (IEs) in the Semi-Skilled Grade. So all eligible applicants should apply online at FGF Kanpur website from March - April 2015.

Eligibility Criteria : 

Educational Qualification : Matriculation + National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)/ National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council of Trades for Vocational Training (NCTVT).

Age Limit : The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 32 years as on closing date of application. Age relaxation for reserved categories shall be applicable as per rules and guidelines mentioned in the advertisement. 

Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs.5200-20200/- and Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- 

Selection Procedure : Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their merit in written test and Practical Test (Trade Test)

Scheme and Syllabus of Examination : 

a) The Question Paper will be of 100 marks and accordingly will have 100 objective type multiple choice questions with four options of answers viz. A,B,C and D. 

b) The question paper will be in English/Hindi languages.

c) The duration of examination will be two hours

d) The distribution of questions will be as follows:- 

Part-A (Objective Type) 

1) General Science  -10 marks (10 questions)

2) Quantitative Aptitude - 10 Marks (10 questions) 

Part-B (Objective Type) 

1) Knowledge of Technical Trade -80 marks (80 questions) (NCTVT Syllabus of relevant trade)

e) The paper would be required to be answered in OMR sheets. 

Application Fee : An application fee of Rs.50/- is to be paid through Indian Postal Orders (IPO) only in favour of "General Manager, Field Gun Factory, Kalpi Road, Kanpur-208009" . 

Note : SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/ Person with Disabilities/ Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
