Tamilnadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for recruiting Sub-Inspector of Police (Taluk) to fill up 984 vacancies through direct and 94 vacancies through Backlog Women ward. The online registration will be available at TNUSRB website www.tnusrbexams.net from 8th February 2015 to 10th March 2015.

Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification : Candidates should possess a degree from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Age Limit : The age of the general category candidates should be between 20 to 28 years as on 01.07.2015. i.e. should have been born on or after 01.07.1987 and on or before 01.07.1995.
Scale of Pay : Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4800/-
Selection Procedure : Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in Written examination, Physical Efficiency Test and Viva-voce.

For candidates applying under Open Quota : Rs.230/-
For candidates applying under Departmental Quota : Rs.230/-
For candidates applying both under Open Quota and Departmental Quota : Rs.460/-
Mode of Payment :
i) Candidates can pay the examination fee through On-line payment mode (Net Banking, Credit Card / Debit Card) or Offline payment mode (through Indian Bank or E-payment Post Office).
ii) Candidates can also pay the fee through offline payment mode by using system generated challan to make offline payment through either Indian Bank or E-payment Post Offices.
