Odisha Forest Department issued a recruitment notification 2014 for recruiting the posts of Forest Guards and Foresters in the different forest divisions of Angul Circle, Berhampur Circle to fill up 103 vacancies on contractual basis in accordance with the Odisha Subordinate Forest Service (Method of Recruitment and Condition of Service of Forest Guards) Rules 1998 respectively. So all eligible candidates should apply on or before last date 29th November 2014.

Educational Qualification :
For Forester : A candidate must have passed +2 Science.
For Forest Guard : A candidate must have passed High School Certificate (10+) from recognized Board/ Institution.
Note : The candidate should be a citizen of India, able to speak, read and write Oriya fluently and must have passed Odiya as a subject in M.E. School Standard.
Age Limit (As on 31.10.2014):
For Forester : 20 to 32 years
For Forest Guard : 18 to 32 years
Upper age limit relaxable by 5 years in caste of S.C, S.T & Women candidates and by 3 years in case of SEBC candidates.
Monthly Remuneration :
For Forester : Pay Rs.5200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.2000/- (Consolidated) per month
For Forest Guard : Pay Rs.5200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- (consolidated) per month

Selection Procedure : The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written test, Physical Test and Viva-voce test. The written examination will be held on 4th January 2014.
Forester : The written test will be conducted in two subjects i.e. Odiya Language and Mathematics, (Matric Standard) each paper will be of one hour duration and will carry maximum 20 marks. A candidate securing minimum 50% marks (40% in case of SC & ST) shall quality for subsequent tests.
Forest Guard : The written test will be conducted in two subject i.e. Odiya Language and Mathematics (Class IXth Standard) each paper will be one hour duration and will carry maximum 25 marks. A candidate securing minimum 50% marks (40% in case of SC 7 ST) shall quality for subsequent test. Viva-voce test will be conducted for the candidates qualified in written and physical test.

Candidates should send their application along with admit card to the concerned Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) so as to reach on or before 29.11.2014 during working hours by registered post or by hand.
