www.jssc.in is the official website of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) Forest Guard Recruitment 2014. JSSC is going to conduct a Forest Guard Competitive Examination 2014 for recruiting forest guards to fill up 2204 vacancies in the state of Jharkhand. JSSC invites online applications from eligible candidates from 5th November 2014 to 22nd November 2014.

Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification : Candidates must possess the 10+2 or equivalent qualification recognized by the Jharkhand Term Council and Jharkhand Government or Recognized by the other state government.
Age Limit : The age of the general category candidates should be between 18 years to 35 years. For OBC candidates maximum age limit is relaxed by 2 years i.e., 37 years , for women (General or OBC) candidates is 3 years i.e., 38 years and for the SC/ST (men or Women) candidates is relaxed by 5 years i.e.40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.2000/-
Selection Procedure : Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Forest Guard Competitive Examination 2014. The exam will be comprise of two types i.e. prelims and Mains examination.
Application Fee :
For SC/ST of Jharkhand state candidates : Rs.125/-
For all other candidates : Rs.500/-
